The volunteering program of the UCSD Health Systems is run by UCSD personnel. support medical staff to make patients more comfortable and more fulfilling staying in the hospital. Volunteers can perform several tasks, including assisting patients, deliver patient meals, transporting patients in wheelchairs, and running errands for the department they are assigned to. They assist personnel in administrative tasks and overall patient care. Anyone over the age of 16 years old is available to join.
