Alternative Breaks is a student-run program that inspires students to become "socially active and globally conscious leaders." This program primarily consists of educational trips, through which students are able to directly tackle multiple social issues and problems. The potential social projects include teaching English, caring for children, working with people affected by HIV/AIDS, observing and assisting local health professionals, and many more.
